route planning & chart management software

NAVMASTER OFFICE

“It’s reliable, simple and logical to use and has handsomely repaid the investment made.”
Capt Peter Gill, Shell International Shipping & Trading Co Ltd

Navmaster Office is a route-planning and chart management tool with many applications:  route risk assessment, route planning, emergency response planning, incident management, post-incident analysis, port assessment, moorings management and more. It is type approved software without interfacing or hardware and can be installed on a laptop, desktop or network.

EMERGENCY RESPONSE

  • Speeds up response times
  • Gives managers a competitive edge when handling incidents at sea
  • Managers can be in touch from anywhere in the world
  • Provides standard Windows tools for creating and printing reports

INCIDENTS AT SEA

In dealing with an incident at sea, the response team needs rapid access to a chart of the area. From a lat/long input Navmaster Office will bring up the right chart in less than a minute. Tidal stream overlays can assist the risk assessment process and help determine the right course of action.

Navmaster can store and export data, such as the ETA of the nearest rescue vessel, which can then be transmitted to all relevant parties. Images can be stored to aid analysis and assessment.

Post incident, Navmaster can replicate incident position and attendant factors, provide colour chart print-outs for briefings, and reports for clear presentation.

ROUTE RISK ASSESSMENT & PLANNING

  • Type-approved software
  • Provides full ECDIS tools for route planning
  • Compatible with routes exported from any make of ECDIS
  • Routes can be assessed ashore, checked, optimised and re-issued to vessels
  • Gives management clear visibility and control of fleet routeing
